Bonnie York

Bonnie joined the practice in 2015 and has since become a Chartered Senior Architect and Associate Partner. Throughout her time at BG, she has successfully led a diverse variety of projects, working extensively within the residential, education, blue light and commercial sectors. As part of the leadership team, Bonnie plays a crucial role in the growth and development of our architecture team, and actively supports the wider industry through the mentorship of several RIBA students.

Although Bonnie brings a wealth of expertise across various projects and sectors, her strength lies in designing high-quality residential developments that address the needs of complex stakeholder groups. Bonnie has led on several flagship developments and large-scale regeneration projects, some of which have served as catalysts for wider regeneration in the area, positively transforming local communities.

Since the merge of our architectural studios in 2023, Bonnie continues to lead on a number of key initiatives to enhance the services of our Birmingham, London and Manchester studios in alignment with the latest industry developments. She regularly speaks at national industry conferences and events and has authored numerous publications on current affairs within the construction sector.
