Our experience includes the refurbishment of a Listed Mansion at a technology college to provide a 6th form classroom, library, new toilets, study rooms, offices and conference suite. The building had sadly fallen to victim of metal theft resulting in rapid deterioration of the fabric including dry rot and repairs were essential. Works included upgrading the building fabric to improve fire resistance and means of escape together with repairs to original features and installation of modern toilet facilities and information technology infrastructure.

Working closely with our environmental and M&E specialists we were able to provide a fully integrated design with new modern energy efficient lighting, fire alarm and access and intruder alarm and IT. We carefully balanced the modern requirements of the needs of the school and health and safety of the occupants whilst preserving the historic fabric.
