Renamed Park Rise, redevelopment of the former 1980s Lance Way Estate replaced 142 outdated flats with 164 new mixed tenure homes, providing 21 one bed and 70 two bed apartments, together with 65 three bed and 8 four bed homes. Over a third of the new family houses and apartments are designated for shared ownership, with the remainder a mixture of affordable rent and private sale.
Baily Garner were Employer’s Agent, Project Managers and Cost Consultants for this phased £30.1 million scheme completing in Autumn 2018. The aim of the project was to provide high quality housing and a vibrant, friendly, safe place where people want to live.
Votes cast by residents in the First Time Buyer Magazine Awards for 2017 saw Park Rise win “Best Urban Regeneration”, acknowledging the difference the redevelopment project has made to their lives.
