Baily Garner were involved in Friese Greene House from 2006, when we were appointed by Affinity Sutton at concept stage to provide cost management services, whilst assisting the Architect with concept design appraisals. After a prolonged planning design period planning consent was eventually granted in 2011.

Following demolition of a former Gala bingo hall occupying the site, Baily Garner provided Employer's Agent, Cost Management, Party Wall and Monitoring Surveyor services for this £6.3 million project. The new development provides 35 affordable rent units, including 4 wheelchair accessible homes, approximately 1081m² of space for a doctor's surgery to Primary Care Trust (PCT) standards, a pharmacy, 115m² for D1, D2 (commercial usage) units, together with associated communal areas. 

Completed in the summer of 2015, Friese Greene House achieved the accolade of "Development of the Year" at the 2016 CIH South East Awards.
