Baily Garner were appointed by Coopers College in 2012 and commissioned to prepare a 10 year Strategic Asset Management Plan for existing school buildings. A capacity study, building condition survey and mechanical and electrical services survey followed, with opportunities/challenges identified and defined future outcomes prioritised over years 1-5, 6-10 and beyond. Outline costs were based on building condition surveys and future maintenance costs included. Future design proposals include a replacement Sixth Form Block and refurbishment of the Languages Block. Mansion Block (2013): Complete refurbishment of sixth form facilities in the Grade II Listed Mansion Block. Services provided: Employer's Agent, Building Surveyor, M&E Engineer; Contract Value £3 million.
English Block (2013): Complete refurbishment of the English Block to provide a modern suite of classrooms, internal layout changes, double glazing and replacement external envelope. Services provided: Employer's Agent, Architect, Contract Value £900K.
Sixth Form Extension (2013) New build 6th form block providing common room and snack bar to the ground floor and Learning Resource Area for quiet study to the first floor. Services provided: Architect, Employer's Agent, M&E Engineer, Sustainablity Advisor
Creative Arts Block (2014/15): New build Creative Arts Block including dining facilities and new landscaped square. Services provided: Architect, Sustainability Advisor, M&E Engineer; Contract Value £3million.
