One is a £12 million new two form entry primary school with capacity for 420 pupils, plus a 52 place nursery - the other a £30 million redevelopment providing a new high rise, high density urban hub with 463 new homes, a 160 room 4 star hotel, underground parking and landscaped gardens, a gym, cafes/restaurants and shops, within six buildings from 6 to 25 storeys high.

What could they have in common?

Both have been recognised by The Brick Development Association and made their Shortlist for the 2017 Brick Awards - under 'Education Building' and 'Large Housing Development' categories.
